It's been ten years since 9/11. I still remember that day, I woke up not knowing what had happened, and my sixth grade teacher at school informed us of the tragedy that took place. I went home for lunch that day, and the CNN news reports were playing in my living room. I stared at the screen, not understanding why something like this had to happen. It seriously blew my mind.

Life has changed dramatically since that fateful day - and each year, we take time to remember the countless lives lost. Those innocent people that lost family members, the innocent people that didn't deserve to die. No one deserves to experience anything like that.

In memory of the fallen heroes that risked their lives, in memory of those who didn't deserve to die. To those who to this day are still affected by the aftermath of 9/11.
