Manicure Monday: Suzi & The Seven Dusseldorfs

Monday again. It's nearly the end of September, the temperatures are spiraling downwards and I have a midterm today. Oh, Mondays. I'm currently writing to you from my nursing research class because I hate talking about research. Just kidding, it's cause you guys are the best readers ever!

This week I have to share with you the last shade I purchased from the OPI Germany collection, and this one is a real beauty. VP & Director of OPI Suzi Weiss-Fischmann makes an appearance in this one, named with Suzi & The Seven Dusseldorfs

This colour is gorgeous. My camera had a very hard time picking up the true colour, but the polish itself is a red-toned purple shimmer, with a little bit of a duochrome personality to it. When I look at it, I call it an amped up eggplant, because it has a bit of an electric quality to it.

The shimmer in this shade is very fine - so fine that it doesn't even seem to be a shimmer polish but rather a metallic shade. I usually hate metallics due to the streaking of polish upon application, but the formula is so smooth and pigmented that there are no problems at all. My only issue is that it felt like my brush was a little to wide and difficult to work with, which is quite unusual..

This particular purple is such a great shade for fall. It's dark, but without the vampy quality that I'm not too fond of. Wears up to 4 days chip free too! I absolutely love this shade and would recommend it if you're looking for a pop of purple for the fall!

    This is such a gorgeous colour!! Sometimes the camera really do no justice to nail polishes.
