Needing some plans for this upcoming Valentine's Day weekend? Winefest is back in Edmonton this weekend so you can take your date on a wine tasting adventure!

Edmonton’s all-inclusive wine event is back at the Shaw Conference Centre on February 13-14. Celebrating its seventh year in Edmonton, Winefest invites guests to sample from a wide selection of local and international wines from fifteen of the world’s top wine regions. Wine experts will be on hand to share their knowledge and suggest tasting notes, as attendees sample their way from booth to booth. Attendees can nibble on a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres from Shaw Conference Centre Catering, The Cheesiry, Dave’s Hot Pepper Jelly, Mojojojo Pickles, and Buttery Bites Caramels.

here's a whopping 251 different wines to sample, and the onsite Sobeys Liquor store will allow guests to purchase their favourite finds of the night.

Tickets to the event range $70-$80 each and are selling out fast! The Friday and Saturday night sessions are completely sold out, but I have a pair of tickets to the Saturday, February 14 afternoon tasting session from 2-5 PM to give away to one lucky reader! The tickets will gain you entrance to the event and all the wine you can drink and appetizers you can eat (valued at $150). To enter, follow the directions below!
